Bulgaria. Media Development Center, Sofia (MDC) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in 1998. It was established to promote independent media in Bulgaria, and to foster capacity-building of the media by encouraging good practice in journalism, stimulating the professional ethics, institutionalizing the dialogue among the state administration, the media and the NGO sector and and to boost the networking and cross-border cooperation in the region of Southeast Europe.

Slovenia. Institute for Culture of Diversity Open is a non-governmental organization focusing on the respect for human rights, spreading diversity and fighting against discrimination. We carry out research, advocacy and campaining related to human rights, culture, social security and the economic system. We do not want to be bystanders who are silent when they see injustices, so we organise roundtables, lectures, concerts, workshops, literary evenings and a festival. We monitor the local and the global environment and produce analyses and writings.
